About
Muzeqo™ started in a teaching studio, not a software company. Its founder teaches music, and every term the same two questions came from parents: why isn’t my child progressing, and where is the term report? Neither had a good answer, because the answer lived in the teacher’s head and in pencil marks in a method book.
So Muzeqo keeps the answer in the open. Every piece a child learns is recorded with the stage it has reached — learning, polishing, ready — and the family reads it on their phone the same day, with the teacher’s note from the lesson. At the end of term those notes become a term report: what was covered, how the child progressed, the repertoire, the focus for next term and what to do at home. The office sees which reports are written and which are still owed, so no family waits for one.
The rest followed from running a school in Australia: the state school terms and their holidays, GST tax invoices, make-ups families book themselves, teacher pay worked out from attendance, and a timetable for each primary or secondary school a teacher visits. None of it is an overseas product with the currency changed.
The product is young and we say so. There are no invented testimonials on this site, every feature page describes what the app does today, and the switching page says plainly where we are not the right fit yet.
The two questions
Both questions deserved a better answer than “it’s going well”. Now the answer is on the family’s phone.
Every piece has a stage — learning, polishing, ready — and a lesson note after every lesson. Progress is on the family’s phone the same day, not at the recital.
The teacher’s notes become the report: what was covered, progress, repertoire, next term’s focus and what to do at home. The office sees which are written and which are owed.
How the answer gets there
Nothing is typed twice. Each step uses what the one before it recorded.
In the lesson
The teacher taps Present and says what was covered. The note is written up and shared with the family.
The same day
Learning, polishing, ready — each piece from the method book with where it has reached, on the family’s phone.
End of term
Overview, progress, repertoire, next term’s focus and what to do at home — checked by the teacher, sent by the office.
How we work
How it is built
No marketing architecture: what the app is, in the words a principal or a parent can check.
The office, every teacher and every family sign in to the same app and each sees the screen built for them — on a phone as much as a laptop.
Every school’s rows are separated by Postgres row-level security, so the separation holds for every page, export and feed, and the tests prove it against a real database.
When a school switches it on, Muzeqo AI writes up the lesson note from the teacher’s few words. It is always Muzeqo AI where people see it; the model behind it is never named in the app.
